Get to know me
The power of holistic medicine was instilled in Julie from a young age. Born at home with a doula mother and raised with natural medicine being the go-to for common ailments, she has always known the healing power of nutrition, chiropractic, homeopathy, acupuncture and herbs.
Despite that early education, as a young adult, she found herself struggling in a toxic relationship and developing new food allergies and sensitivities, debilitating back pain, muscle spasms, and migraine headaches. When she looked to western medicine for help, she found very little support. It was here that she realized how toxicity and imbalance in her relationships, career, and daily life could have such a negative effect on her physiology.
After about 6 years on her own healing journey, Mama Rising was born as a desire to offer connection and support to other women who may share the same challenges of juggling careers, relationships, children, and lose sight of daily self-care along the way.
At Mama Rising, we believe that women who work together, rise together!
